Jon has been Pastor of Morning Star since January of 2002. He grew up in Las Cruces, and attended Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. His theatrical background comes out in his preaching, his academic background comes out in his teaching, his musical background comes out in his guitar work with the praise band, and he hopes his faith comes out in every possible way. Mike Trumbull, Small Group Ministries Director
|
Mike Trumbull is Morning Star's Director of Adult Small Group Ministries and Community Formation. Mike is also a Lay Speaker, and has completed Module I of the Certified Lay Minister Training. He has been actively involved in United Methodist Men both at Morning Star and at his previous church, First UMC in Silver City. With a background in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Mike brings an important focus on special events and larger group functions to his ministry. |

Stephanie is the longest tenured staff person at Morning Star! A capable resource for so many of the ministries at Morning Star, we are very grateful for Stephanie's organization and expertise. Her friendly voice greets those who call the office, and the many who pop in during the week find themselves welcomed by the hospitality of grace she extends to all. |
