PARENTS NIGHT OUT NEXT NIGHT OUT will be July 11th Not for sure if this will take place this month. Please call church.
SENIOR SINGLES - July 14 th at 1:00 pm. Join the others at Eddie's B & G. If you have questions, please speak to Myrna Enslin.
COMMUNION - Communion will be served on Sunday, July 6th at each of our worship services. The Communion table is the Lord’s, therefore, everyone is welcome to come and partake.
UNITED METHODIST MEN - Men's Breakfast is the Third Saturday of each month. 8:00 a.m.
MEN'S BIBLE STUDY - Men's Bible Study, every Tuesday morning at 8:15 am
BOOK CLUB - meets on the Third Monday of each month. Join in the church library.

SATURDAY HIKING GROUP - Call church and we will add your name to their contact list and for updates on when and where group will hike.
QUILTERS - Come anytime on the First or Third Monday between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
COVENANT PRAYER GROUP- Prayer oriented discussion group continues meeting at 1:00 p.m. each Wednesday. Speak to Patsy Esslinger to know more about this group.
GAME NIGHT - Will take a break for the summer. Beginning in the fall, Family Game Night will resume on the third Friday of each month at 6:00 pm. Join us then. In the past, we have enjoyed a dog show, "The Price is Correct" as well as board games, cards, and Bible Trivia games. If you have ideas or suggestons for Game Night, please call the church office. Thank You.

COMMITTEE MEETING- Missions Committee Concedes Defeat ! (Thanks to your generosity in the challenge, we collected over $1, 000 to help support Operacion Hogar! Other dontaions were also received. The United Methodist Men won the competition, but the family that received the house is the real winner. Thank you all for your generosity!

On the second Sunday of even months (August, October and December) there will be an Orientation for those considering becoming members, newer members who have joined or for those who would just like to know more about Morning Star Church.
Join us from 5:00 to 7:00 pm when a light supper will be served and childcare will be provided. Reservations are not necessary to attend this Orientation.

We are pleased that the "Bilingual Reading Program" continues as a part of Lighthouse, with volunteer storytellers sharing with the kids by reading Spanish-language storybooks.
